 Daniel Serata, Esq. has been a Hoboken Real Estate Attorney since 1989. His previous experience included Environmental and Bank Law. Since moving to Hoboken, New Jersey in 1989, he started his own practice as a Real Estate and Litigation Attorney in 1997 when he opened his own offices in Hoboken and Union City New Jersey.

Daniel Serata’s Real Estate Attorney experience includes commercial and residential purchases and sales, particularly with first time Buyers. Mr. Serata recognizes that making a Real Estate purchase is may be the Buyer’s largest financial transaction they have encountered and personally handles all aspect of each purchase with the Buyer. Daniel Serata, Esq. handles all aspects of real estate transactions from contract negotiation to closing, and has expertise with commercial leasing, purchases and startups of business, sales of restaurants, taverns, sales of businesses,  real estate development, lines, specific performance and Chancery actions, lines, lis pendens and other Real Estate litigation.

Dan Serata has represented a very wide range of clients. His nearly four decades of proactive has benefitted scores of clients in a successful, effient and economical manner. 

Mr. Serata received his Bachelor of Arts from the School of Government and Public Administration at the American University in Washington, D.C.

 Daniel Serata, Esq. attended what is now the Western Michigan University School of Law where he was a member of the Student Bar Association and a Deans List student. After Law School, Dan Serata was the Judicial Law Clerk for Judges Porreca, Nuestadter, Greenberg and Guerrera, Atlantic County Superior Court, Criminal Division, Mays Landing, 1984. He then served as the Chief Legislative Aide, Deputy Assembly Speaker, Hon. Joseph Chinnici 1984-1986. He was admitted to the state Bar of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania and the Federal Courts of the First District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of New York

Thereafter Mr. Serata entered private practice focusing on Environmental Law and then commercial banking, where he gained Trial experience. Mr. Serata then moved to Hoboken in 1988 and eventually opened his own practice in 1997 handling Litigation, Real Estate and Commercial Litigation, Wills & Trusts, Municipal Court and Criminal Practice.

Daniel Serata, Esq. has handled many complex commercial, SBA, private and Bank financings of office buildings, strip malls, warehouses and businesses. Mr. Serata’s experience includes commercial and residential financing, leasing and sales and purchases and litigation concerning these issues.
